The New York Cafe

1073 Budapest,

Erzsebet KRT. 9-11

New York Cafe2That was back in the glory days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the development of psychoanalytic theory. The modern visitor is unlikely to be as confronted by their internal world or be offered the same opportunity for emotional change.

Still, taking coffee and cake in the New York Cafe is a must as it offers a unique expereince of Empire - more than the Buda Castle, the Hungarian Parliament House and the Fisherman's Bastion.
